Raised in Fort Myers, Florida, Michael Nichols received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in American Studies. After graduation he moved to northern California and worked in a variety of restaurants while volunteering as a writing tutor at San Francisco’s 826 Valencia and taking night courses in photography. Wanderlust struck, and he found himself teaching English in Budapest, Hungary for a year. Finally deciding to buckle down, Michael enrolled at the University of Florida’s Documentary Institute to pursue his lifelong interest in filmmaking. Joshua Woltermann received his bachelor’s degree from New York University in film and television. He has worked with Barak Goodman, Bill Moyers, Barbara Kopple, Errol Morris and others. He recently received his M.A. in Documentary Film Production from the Documentary Institute at the University of Florida. Joshua lives in New York City.
